The monthly optical products generated by the GSM01 semi-analytical merging model are: the combined absorption coefficient of dissolved and detrital material at 443 nm and the particulate backscattering at 443 nm. These products were derived using the level 3, daily, binned normalized water-leaving radiances from MODIS-Aqua. This data are in a Standard Mapped Image format similar to that of the OBPG.
