GSM SeaWiFS Optical Monthly Global 9-km Products

This interface is designed for visualization and analysis of the UCSB GSM SeaWiFS Optical Monthly Global 9-km Products. Users can generate plots or ASCII Output for Lat-Lon Map, Time Series, and Hovmoller diagram. The animation is available only for Lat-Lon Map. Selecting here or the Help buttons will open a new window with detailed help. More details about the data are also available.

Data Description

GSM SeaWiFS Optical Monthly Global 9-km Products

The data products available for analysis here are output from the GSM01 semi-analytical merging model. They are: Dissolved and detrital organic matter absorption coefficent at 443 nm (acdm), and Particulate backscattering coefficient at 443 nm (bbp).

Data version: 3 (completed February, 2007)
Spatial coverage: Global 90°S - 90°N
Spatial resolution: 9km x 9km at equator;
Temporal resolution: Monthly
